Integration Consultant

    As the IC, this role is responsible for understanding the business requirements related to client’s integration, helps translate client requirements into application design and potentially configuring integration-related components of the Concur applications. This role also works closely with Concur Integration Project Managers, Concur Integration Developers, and client teams to facilitate data transfer between the Concur systems and the client systems.  Common types of data streams include employee profiles, charts-of-accounts, pick-list items, and financial postings in the form of GL journal vouchers, vendor bill / AP invoices, and expense reports.

     

                 

    Responsibilities as an IC:

    • Leverage expertise with the applicable IPAAS tool(s)

    • Functional familiarity with RESTful web services

    • represent functional expertise in creating/reviewing transactions in third-party accounting systems

    • utilize technical skills in supporting client testing efforts and troubleshooting connectivity, data transformation, and posting issues

    • Manage the expectations of the client (internal and external) with regard to project objectives, deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization.

    • Ensure completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, delivering within budget, and ensuring creative and technical success. Liaise with Concur internal resources to ensure understanding and clear communications

    • Remain accountable to project plan deadlines

    • Consistently communicate project status with the Concur project manager and/or customer by means of status reports and status calls. Develop and maintain functional and technical product knowledge

    • Develop and maintain knowledge of Concur’s implementation practices and methodologies Represent the Department on cross-functional teams

    • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience & Training required:

    • Technical degree
    • Degree in Accounting, a plus

    • Minimum of five years of enterprise level technical project management, consulting and/or software implementation experience

    • Proficiency in setting up SSO, FTP, file import/extract interfaces

    • VB or other 4GL language and SQL skills

    • Experience with Dell Boomi or Informatica IPAAS tools

    • Experience with technical file manipulation / integration

    • Experience with one or more of the accounting packages listed above in the job description

    • Experience with basic accounting terminology and practical application (journal vouchers)

    • Experience in client-facing/service roles

    • Experience with financial applications and knowledge of accounting processes, a plus

    • Full life-cycle financial system implementation experience

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver on commitments

    • Ability to pass a background check
