    Position Description:

        

        

    The Network Deployment Lead (NDL) will manage multiple Supplier Enablement projects that enable clients to interact with their suppliers through the Ariba Supplier Network. The NDL will independently manage buyer and supplier interactions, ensure teams have appropriate resources and design enablement projects for success.  The NDL focuses on driving projects which create maximum benefit for both buyers and suppliers. The lead has to have the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

        


        ESSENTIAL  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    

    ·       Customer Focus

        

    o   Builds relationships with external parties such as customers and suppliers at all levels

        

    o   Has ultimate responsibility for project content and strategy including: Enablement Road Map, On-Boarding Plan, Catalog creation and maintenance, and Contracts creation and maintenance, and data collection

        

    o   Acts as project manager for cross functional teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders, including On-Boarding, Catalog, and Contracts

        

    o   Accountable for structuring projects to meet customer goals and objectives

        

    o   Holds ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction on assigned projects

        

    o   Prepares, delivers, analyses and present project plan and convey expectations, risks, options on project plans & results etc.

        

    o   Responsible for timeline and deployment

        

        

    ·       Ariba Solution Expertise

        

    o   Responsible for understanding key business drivers and managing operational metrics, including cost, quality, cycle-time and customer satisfaction

        

    o   Ensures that all reports and systems are current

        

        

    ·       Practice Development

        

    o   Understands and complies with work instructions, process documents and technology tools

        

    o   Actively identifies, contributes to and facilitates business impacting continuous improvement efforts using Lean Techniques

        

    o   Expected to always exceed targeted quality objectives

        

    o   Acts Self-sufficiently to identify solutions and strategic direction in spite of high degrees of ambiguity and uncertainty

    o   Interacts with both buyer and supplier customers providing education and training on the value of the Ariba Network

        

    o   Serves as a knowledge expert and communicates opportunities to bring business impacting value to customers on the Ariba Network

        

    o   Runs weekly reporting and delivers analysis of project status to customer with firm action plans to address stalled enablement areas, including transacting potential

        

    o   Runs internal alignment calls to ensure internal resources that impact enablement work stream are on same page and on track

        

    o   Forecasts projected enablement activity 

        

    o   Facilitates and/or participates in cross-functional collaboration with customer

        

    o   Serve as customer's primary point of contact for ongoing supplier enablement activity

    o   Leverages prior Project Management and technical expertise. Capable of quickly developing knowledge in other areas enabling requirements

        

    o   Demonstrates exceptional problem solving skills and is looked at by the organization as a leader within the role

        

    o   Experience and proven performance leading people in direct team leadership, customer leadership or project leadership role

    Education, Experience & Training required:

        

    ·       Education / Experience

        

    o   High level of achievement in a Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

        

    o   5-7+ years of experience in a specific industry organization

        

    o   5-7+ years of Project Management experience

        

    o

    ·        Preferred Qualifications:

        

    o   B2B, E-commerce and/or SaaS experience

        

    o   Program and customer relationship management experience

        

    o   Knowledge of Ariba solutions/services

        

    o   Understanding of AP and Procurement processes and Buyer/Supplier interfaces

        

    o   Knowledge of Enterprise Business Applications

        

    o   Experience preparing and delivering analyses and presentations

        

    o   Bachelor’s Degree

        

        

        

    ·       Knowledge

        

    o   Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word, and Excel

        

    o   High Familiarity with procurement related processes (requisitioning, order processing, invoicing, and payment)

        

    o   Familiar with the Catalog and Contracts Enabling Services Solutions

        

    o   Familiar with PO, Invoice Automation, Invoice Pro, OND Procurement Deployment and enablement process

        

    o   Is familiar with and understands the impact of all of the Ariba Enabling Services tools (i.e., Tracker, Buyer, ACM, Invoicing, etc.)
