PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Customer Experience (CX) drives solutions intended to help businesses move beyond traditional customer relationship management (CRM), engaging their customers anytime, anywhere, and on any device. Within SAP CX, the product “SAP Marketing Cloud” plays a dominant role and is seen as a major growth opportunity. Within the SAP Customer Experience, we are building a world class support and operations organization and are currently seeking Support and Development engineers specifically for SAP Marketing Cloud. To fit into our team, you should be passionate about software development and problem solving while understanding the importance of product support to effectively respond to customer needs. You will work to help our customers overcome problems when consuming our software. As part of an ambitious and highly efficient team you will perform root cause analysis, follow troubleshooting methodologies, perform tooling and product development. We apply agile methodologies in our product development. You will be part of a cross-functional SCRUM team with the role of a Developer / Senior Developer and you will work on development tasks end-to-end (i.e. specification, design, built-in quality, testing and documentation).
Additionally the team will be working on analytical topics such as a dashboard for Chief Marketing Executives, as well as on the integration of our software with SAP’s ERP and CRM systems. The team covers the entire development stacks for doing this (SAP HANA, ABAP, ODATA and other interfaces, Fiori/HTML5 UI).
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The job requires:
? Supporting consumption of SAP Marketing Cloud solutions as gatekeeper of troubleshooting any issues.
? Communicating with customers and partners to identify, understand and solve problems related to SAP Marketing Cloud as a service solution.
? Maintaining, implementing, testing solutions with an openness for new technologies in an innovative environment.
? Solid software development skills with a passion to build quality applications
? Accountability, delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high performance
? Working in an agile development environment requiring the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently and be
flexible to cater to demand
? Interface with customers and consultants to support implementation projects and to gain better understanding of customer requirements
? Understanding the requirement of normal customer support model and work collaboratively with the global team setup.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
? University degree in Computer Science, Natural Science, Business Engineering or a related discipline
? Strong team player mindset is essential
? Constructive and open style of communication at all hierarchy levels (internally and externally)
? Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks/challenges
? Strong analytical skills and the ability to work conceptually
? Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
Experience in the following development environments would be beneficial, but not a must:
? Collaborative software engineering, working in team applying the SCRUM methodology
? Development experience with in-memory technology in general or SAP HANA in particular
? Profound business process know-how and expertise in one or more SAP solutions
? 0 – 1 years of relevant work experience
